Thread: Building my gun room/vault

    Building my gun room/vault

The room is about 13X7 and should be more than enough room for me to store my guns and reload. First thing I did was have the cement walls sprayed with foam insulation. Then sheet rocked. The walls are 12 inches thick! I found that out when I decided to cut a hole in the wall in order to bring a vent in to help with heating and cooling. I also installed an electric heater in case that wasn’t enough during the winter months. The floors are next and then ill build my work bench and my reloading table. After that all that will be left is making it look purty… Ill post a couple pics of what I have so far.. Cheers

    Hole in wall lol

Ammo and other crap I had all over the place

Taking some of my guns out of the wife’s feet. She is really happy about this room lol

    Humidity seems to be undercontrol.

Temporarily put some of my rifles up just to get a feel for it. I have allot of idea's for the walls and how I’ll be displaying my guns. It will deffenitely look allot better than this.
I'm like a kid in a playground in here lol

My Marlin 336BL has been flawless. I must have missed those negative reviews.
