    Guns in movies

In the spirit of the Weapons Education video on Guns in the Movies, how bout a thread here on the types of guns used in your favorite movies. Also, in the spirit on the new H&K video, one of my favorites is "Collateral" with Tom Cruise and Jamie Fox. Say what you will about Tom Cruise, but he played one heck of a BG. And, his choice of weapon was the 45acp H&K. Big list of weapons in that movie. The briefcase part in that show was incredible handling of a pistol. The youtube vids of Tom Cruise training for the movie are pretty cool. I grew up with James Bond and the Rifleman. When Lucas McCain broke out that rifle, you where in trouble, lol.

Last man standing. That move is all about the 1911. Collateral was pretty cool too. Not so much for the guns, but the realistic gun play. It was spot on!

We're just not going to let you walk out of here...............who's we sucker...............Smith, Wesson and me...........Magnum 44.

John Wayne's Colt, nice ivory grips but the fact it could shoot all day without reload and hit a fly's butt at 100 yards make it special............

And last how about Malkovich's home made gun in "in the line of fire"

I am also a big fan of No Country for Old Mens short, ugly, brutal firefights.

I am a big fan of this movie and especially this scene. One of the better sawed off shotguns scenes ever shown IMO.
