I have all ways thought of them as too heavy, too powerfull , too big and too shiny to carry but perfect to keep in the house and show your friends and mabye have some fun at the range. Also expensive to shoot. What is your opinion ?

Just what you said!!! Not practical unless you go with a smaller caliber.
