    Walther CCP

This week I bought a Walther CCP to go along with my PPQ and P99c. I was hoping when I first heard about the CCP that it would be a subcompact single stack PPQ as I think the PPQ is the best of the striker fired guns. The CCP is very similar in ergonomics to the PPQ but the trigger is different. I hated the trigger at first till I shot it. The trigger is long but the pull is light and smooth. I put 125 rounds through it and the trigger is actually quite nice other then there is no reset. It is very accurate and very little recoil. I was very surprised how well I shot it. The CCP ran perfect with no malfunctions. Although I still wish they would make a subcompact PPQ along the lines of a Glock 26. I am quite happy with the CCP.

The take down after the range visit is quite different and does require a tool but it was not hard to do

I doubt you can shoot cast bullets as it has a polygonal barrel. It wasn't really any dirtier then any other gun after 125 rounds. The piston is easy to clean.

I forgot to mention that they include a brush to clean out the piston area
