Very cool and good early form, teach them young and teach them to respect guns and you remove the inquisitive factor which might lead to picking up a loaded gun.

Expensive might be great guns, but I worry when it looks like a lot of the cost goes on superficial elements.
Just got a FNX 45 in FDE she's a beast. Big heavy and holds 15 + 1 45's yup she's a keeper.
Do you notice any performance issues?
My stance is look at enforcing the current laws before introducing new ones. As far as the 2A is concerned no compromise no surrender.
Love the ergo's on these guns
The Rugers are a lot of gun for the money, there are better but at the price point they are at they are a good choice, I love mine.
I like the M11-A1, but I have a problem with it being called a 228 a true 228 has a mild steel folded slide this makes the handling characteristics of the gun unique. The new M11-A1 has the 229 frame...
Glock 30, small but with a big bite, the little hammer is the perfect glock.
Just got a 229 enhanced elite put hogues on her and she rocks.............
Just got the Sr1911 commander it's love at first sight.

Looks really good, I suppose now would be the time to get one if you wanted one, might not be around soon...................
Nice gun, nice G10's on her as well
I sought professional help on this and the best advice I can share is buy every gun you want or have wanted by the end you're cured or broke either way you stop buying.
For hunting and home defense where amount, cost, capacity and weight are not critical factors
357 mag
45 ACP

You should keep some shooters, including a home defense gun, carry guns, range gun, plinker, then I would go for quality over quantity. Thats my view, and my direction for what its worth.
Both are good guns, but when I was looking for mine, there were features I liked and disliked on both, but the feel and finish of the 870 was that much better, it just felt a more solid gun.
Would not kick either out of bed.
