I hear ya...been to two matches this year....still trying to make it to FS! Got some ole pics of the car at www.elimn8u.com and many more on facebook...we have a Glory Days Racing page and one called...
I grabbed a 229 Legion finally this year...added to the Compact 320 I have (and added a FullSize Conversion Kit to the stable for it too)...I had the chance to fire a few different 226/229 combos...
Yeah...where's the time go!!
Got out to a couple of IDPA matches earlier this year...gotta do that more consistently!! Man was I rusty the first time out.
Haven't had the dragcar out yet....we got...
Hope to get the chance to fire the 229 and 226 this weekend....I'm leaning 229 ahead of time but I hear the 226 SA trigger is just like "butta".
AlienGear, CrossBread, Ozark Holters, are all nice IWB versions...I have a Mitch Rosen OWB that I got right from the Ruger store that I absolutely love.
I picked up a P320C last February (2105) and shortly after that bought a FullSize Conversion Kit to go along with it...grabbed a few different sized grip modules for each the Compact and Fullsize...
Picked up a new Ruger American Pistol in 9mm a little over a month ago and it's a great handgun! Nice trigger, nice balance, great sites as compared to my SR40.
Took it to the range for some side...
Well...I never got around to picking up anymore SR's but I did just grab a Ruger American in 9mm...Very nice gun!! Great balance and trigger! A couple of ounces heavier than the SR but the sites are...
It's been a long time since I stopped by so thought I'd better check in again....Hello from Iowa!!!

Backed out of alot of shooting for awhile there as ammo was hard to find around here but things aren't so bad now. Shot the state match last summer and was the first one I attended in over a year so...
...for me, I'd go with the SR. I just don't like the way the Glock fits/feels....they are a running gun that's for sure and have one helluva following.
The SR9 would be an excellent cchoice, based upon my experience with the SR40 I'd have to say you can't go wrong. The SR40 has been an outstanding firearm for me, I wouldn't want to go any larger...
I was looking at that version of an S&W when I was looking at getting my first gun...did not like the feel of the Glock either.
I ended up with the Ruger SR40 actually and have had great results...
You'll like it even more after firing it
Hope you were able to find one...they are all over the place now. Nice shooting, easy to EDC handgun.
I had the chance to fire the new Sig Sauer P320C a few months back and really like the way it performed. Quick shots, fast follow up, low recoil, and it just felt good in the hands...it will be my...
The Mrs got me a 9mm Shield for my birthday a year or so back...at the time the LC9 had that loooooong trigger, If they'd had this version out then it would have been my SR40's backup but I really...
The Mrs has the FNS9....set up the same it sounds like...really like the gun myself too.
Still planning on getting to a TR Fighting Pistol class at some point...TN is quite the trip though. I see that they had one in WI awhile back but I couldn't scrape up the funds at that time...need...
How'd it work out or haven't you gotten it yet?
Oh man....Congrats on that!!! I am soooo jealous! We'll definitely have to meet up with ya out there!

We sent in the Mrs's PT709 with some concerns over the sites, they had it repaired and back to us with a week and it was spot on upon return. Kept us notified via e-mails the whole time. Very...
I'd like to add an SR9 and an SR45 to the collection at some point too!
