I get asked all the time, "do bi-metal bullets damage your barrel?" In case you don't know, bullets from companies such as Wolf, Brown Bear, Silver Bear, Tula, etc. all feature bi-metal bullets that use mild steel in their jackets.

Simply put, the metal of the bullets would have to have a higher Rockwell hardness rating than the barrel itself to do damage. They don't, so it's not an issue, really. Sometimes I think people just over-complicate or over-think things. (Not the OP, I mean the people asking these questions.)
