There are many ways a person can justify a gun purchase. Its a different caliber, different model, Different finish/color, the list goes on and on!!! The way i justify buying a gun is simply this.( I worked hard today and the boss pissed me off, Yes i think ill swing by the gun shop after work). When i have a stress full day in the office, the only thing that will put a big O smile on my face is buying a BoomStick!!!

I would suggest to anyone on justifing buying another gun is to watched Tom's video "Gun Addiction". That is one of my farorite vids to watch and have watched it several times. A serious but light hearted and very funny on how Tom justifies buying another gun. I'm a gun addict in the making, lol. Humm, gun show in a couple of weeks, what to buy next??????, lol. Single stack 9mm or Uzi????

Justify it because you don't have that particular gun and would love to own it and shoot it, justify it because you traded that gun or sold that gun and regret it so buy another like it. Justify it because Guns, Gold, and Ground are the best investments, Justify it because no matter how many guns you have your wife will have more shoes. Justify it because if you played golf you would buy 14 clubs all at once. Justify it by getting a really big safe and keeping it a secret. Justify it because when the Zombies do come you are prepared (then get her hooked on the "Walking Dead" tv show).

Funny you say that Pedro!!! Just yesterday she started watching the show from the beginning episode 1 season 1, and she is hooked!!! Also being a Gun addict is my biggest justification reason as Iwap stated!!!

I don't. Being single, I can buy one whenever I can afford one. Nobody I have to explain it to.

My justification is what kind of purpose I intend to use it for.

Justify? To whom? I want it, I buy it.

To justify doing something means its wrong and you need a reason in your mind to do it. So with my guns there is NO justification need.

I say justify for the simple fact, do i really need 30 hand guns?? For that reason alone i have to justify it, when i can take the money i was going to spend on a gun (i don't need) and donate it. Some people don't see it as doing wrong but i do.

Justify, think if I am in there that is justification enough.

I just tell myself I’m going to end up buying it one day anyway…. Why not just buy it now : )

The way I justify my gun purchase's is simple. (It's my money my life my right and if you don't like than call a cop) most times it works! I bet if we let everyone who had a bad thing to say about guns try shooting just once they'd be hooked.

Get her addicted! Likely you'll never have to justify but you'll probably be buying your guns in pairs.

Oh you mean justifying a gun purchase to the General. LOL. Sometimes, it is tough. Well, for second to the last one I needed a Bullseye back up. For the last one I needed another center fire for Bullseye. Now I need to get a scope mount and red dot for it. Wish me luck. :) Yiogo

To date I haven't "needed" any guns except for the M-16 my drill sergeant told me I needed 40 years ago. I just like guns so I buy what I like. The General doesn't understand but puts up with me because she loves me and I love her. Last August we had our 41st anniversary. Thank God. :) Yiogo

I justify my gun purchase, ammo & range time the same way I justify any purchase, by simply saying I worked and earned the money, so I can do with it as I please.

I got quite a few guns but I will not buy anymore for awhile. We need to curb our desires until the prices come back down.

I do not regret one gun purchase I ever made, I will say please do not put guns on credit cards, if you can't pay cash (debit card) or lay away, move on:) Plus ammo to me is my main focus right now.

Why not charge the purchase? Charge cards give you some forms of redress if you have any issues after the purchase. This is especially handy since most shops have a no returns policy on firearms purchases.

You shouldn't have to justify your gun purchase. All you need to keep in mind is that it's your right to own one if you so choose and also it's your money your free to do with it as you like.

I'm trying to convince the girlfriend into letting me get a new gun. She keeps saying I don't need it and didn't fall for "but I'm getting it for you". Ill probably just go buy it any ways. It's just a little Jimenez arms ja22 her moms boyfriend has the same one and he loves it.

I see. I want. I need. I must have. I buy. I too have the sickness, addiction or what ever one wants to call the problem. However, I only pay cash or do trading to feed my firearm addiction and I encourage others to do the same. My LGS offers a two month layaway on new guns & one month on used guns.
