Well i decided to take a gamble and buy a CSC 1911. It will be the same gun as Toms. Ill let you guys know how much i love it and if it sucks (witch i doubt) Ill be real with you guys. From what i can see from the video he puts a lot of work into one, and his attention to detail is great!!!

^ lol i wouldnt want to give him a hard time im already getting a good deal at 1800+ 30 for shipping!! Not a bad price tag for a custom 1911. The way i see it he is able to offer this gun at a low price because he makes them him self. His not paying any gun smiths like some of the big manufactures!!!

I had never heard of this company. Looked up their website and that zombie painted 1911 looks pretty sweet

^ its a newer company. That is the main reason I'm buying one of his 1911's, low serial number!!!

The CSC 1911's are not available for sale in California yet (I've checked the approved list on the CA state website). I've contacted Bernie about this issue and hopefully this issue will be resolved soon. Congrats to those who have purchased! I look forward to reading reviews in the near future.

Man, you guys are brave buying an $1800 1911 from pretty much an unknown source.

Typically I figure a 1911 of that caliber is bought due to its build quality that's been tried and tested. I googled it for kicks and there is not one blip of info out there on it other than the manufacturer's site/video and Toms.

Let us know how it is.

Originally Ernie had said he would try to ship the gun out on 10/25/2012, just got a call and he worked all weekend just to get it done and ready to ship 10/22/12 Got the tracking number now its just a waiting game. Look for my review of the gun under the 1911 section!!!

Picked up the CSC Arms 1911 today during my lunch, cant wait to get home and play with it!!! I will say this, all the guys in the gun shop wanted one and couldn't believe how smooth the slide was!!! This coming from a bunch of guys that own some sweet guns. They even invited me to go out and shoot. They must really want to shoot it!!!

217this thing is scary accurate. Shot about 300 rounds at my action target hostage. Have yet to shoot paper, but will as soon as i buy some. Out of all of my 1911 this is my 2nd favorite.

which is your favorite? not trying to be nosy on costs--but cost to value, does the CSC beat your favorite if one was looking for just one 1911?

My favorite is my Wilson combat professional because its always with me when i carry. Best value for sure is the CSC 1911. Only thing that the Wilson beats the CSCarms 1911 in is cosmetic looks!!!

I am glad you like your CSC ARMS 1911. I was hoping it would be your favorite but coming second to a company that has been around for 30 years is still good in my book.

I have finally shot my CSC Custom 1911! It is perfect. light trigger. I put a 10 round mag in it & carry it. I love it. I did change the grips, only because I like wood grips.

Slick looking pistol. I am not sure I am for the serrations front and back, I am more of a traditionalist when it comes to that sort of thing, but the pistol looks great. Can't wait to see your range review on the accuracy...what types of ammo it likes, etc.
